About Us
Since its inception EBS Carbon has become recognized as a premier provider of engineered solutions in the composites arena. EBSTM services provide light-weight, high strength solutions in the aerospace, marine, auto sports, and sports markets. EBS is adept and recognized for providing fast turn-key solutions from engineering to delivery.
Molding Material - As a rapid prototype facility, our EBS Molding Material Group
has invented and patented a revolutionary molding material allowing EBS to create
composite designs and produce products from those designs in a matter of hours.
This has proven instrumental in the markets serviced by EBS; Aerospace, Motorsport
Racing, Underwater Marine, Professional Sports, Hybrid Automotive Manufacturing
and Wind Energy.
Structural Armor - In 2004, EBS Carbon worked with General Dynamics to build
the tool used for the front fender for the Abrahams Tank. Since that engagement,
EBS has had an interest in development of composite armor solutions. EBS Armor was
created to begin development for an anticipated market need for a light weight structural
armor. In spring of 2009, EBS Carbon?s design goals were achieved.
High Performance Automotive - EBSTM services have been used in the design and
construction of Composite solutions for F-1, Champ Car, Can-Am and exotic sports
cars. EBSTM was a significant contributor in the design and construction for David
Donner?s Pike Peak Challenge winning team, resulting in several championships. In
consumer exotic automotive applications, EBSTM provides parts and panels for Ferrari
and Porsche to significantly reduce weight.
Aerospace - EBS has manufactured numerous parts for many manufacturers in the
aviation industry. EBS has created a revolutionary molding material which allows
for rapid prototyping and production from the same tooling. EBS designed and developed
the tooling for the Freedom Jet, the Adam Aircraft A500 and A700 several components
in Gulfstream aircraft.
Sporting Equipment - EBS Carbon manufactures helmets used by NHL goalies. Much
information and discovery has been acquired from the design and manufacturing of
a NHL goalie hockey helmet, which withstands 180 mph impacts to the cranium from
Hockey pucks with minimal transfer of the impact forces to the wearer. EBS has begun
manufacturing a composite boot used by Olympic and Professional skiers.
